Responsibilities For Backend Developer

  • Develop serverless backend services with Node.js and integrate APIs (e.g., payment gateways, order management systems)
  • Design and maintain composable APIs for headless CMS solutions and/or commerce systems
  • Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of backend services
  • Work with frontend colleagues to achieve seamless integrations
  • Participate in knowledge sharing initiatives within the team and client discussions

Requirements For Backend Developer

Node.js
TypeScript
  • 4 to 7 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong skills in Node.js and API design
  • Experience with serverless architectures and cloud providers (e.g., AWS or Azure)
  • Familiarity with Composable/API architectures
  • Understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns
  • Knowledge of automated testing/TDD in large-scale projects
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Experience with Terraform (preferred)
  • Knowledge of frontend technologies like React/Next.js (preferred)
  • Ability to set up alerts and dashboards in tools like Datadog (preferred)
