Responsibilities For Backend Developer
- Develop serverless backend services with Node.js and integrate APIs (e.g., payment gateways, order management systems)
- Design and maintain composable APIs for headless CMS solutions and/or commerce systems
- Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of backend services
- Work with frontend colleagues to achieve seamless integrations
- Participate in knowledge sharing initiatives within the team and client discussions
Requirements For Backend Developer
- 4 to 7 years of relevant work experience
- Strong skills in Node.js and API design
- Experience with serverless architectures and cloud providers (e.g., AWS or Azure)
- Familiarity with Composable/API architectures
- Understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns
- Knowledge of automated testing/TDD in large-scale projects
- Team player with good communication skills
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Experience with Terraform (preferred)
- Knowledge of frontend technologies like React/Next.js (preferred)
- Ability to set up alerts and dashboards in tools like Datadog (preferred)
