Founding Engineer

Trata is seeking a Founding Engineer to join their rapidly growing team building an AI-powered research desk for hedge funds. As one of the fastest-growing startups in the W25 YC batch, Trata is revolutionizing how information flows within public markets by leveraging voice agents to interview fund managers and generate investment research.

The role offers an exceptional compensation package, including a salary higher than 95% of seed-stage startups and equity ranging from 1-1.75%. The ideal candidate will be a high-autonomy engineer with 2+ years of experience, comfortable with TypeScript and Python, and experienced in integrating AI tooling like voice agents and LLM chats. The tech stack includes React + NextJS, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and AWS + Terraform.
