The position involves developing and maintaining test software for spacecraft systems, working closely with the flight software team to ensure robust validation of components and complete vehicles. You'll be using Python to create automated testing frameworks, implement real-time monitoring solutions with Grafana and Influx, and manage test data pipelines using JSON.

The ideal candidate brings 3-5+ years of test software development experience, preferably in spacecraft or aerospace systems. You should have strong Python programming skills, experience with test automation, and a solid understanding of spacecraft systems testing. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering is required.

Responsibilities For Test Software Developer

  • Develop and maintain test software using Python to automate testing of spacecraft systems
  • Collaborate with the flight software (FSW) team to integrate test scripts
  • Write and manage test scripts to validate hardware and software interactions
  • Work with Grafana and Influx for real-time monitoring and visualization
  • Design and implement automated testing frameworks
  • Work cross-functionally with test leads to define and execute functional tests
  • Execute and analyze test results
  • Develop and maintain test data pipelines

Requirements For Test Software Developer

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field

  • Strong proficiency in Python
