Founding Engineer

Untether Labs is revolutionizing healthcare management through their workforce management platform, specifically designed for large health systems and digital mental health clinics. As a Founding Engineer, you'll join a team of five engineers working to replace existing multi-billion dollar WFM software to enable better healthcare outcomes.

The platform leverages AI-powered scheduling tools to ensure optimal scheduling for doctors and nurses, maximizing patient care while maintaining provider satisfaction. The company has already successfully implemented their solution with contracts covering approximately 1,000 providers and is poised for significant expansion.

The role demands a unique combination of technical expertise and business acumen. You'll be working with TypeScript, Python, React, and PostgreSQL, building enterprise-grade features while maintaining direct contact with customers. The position offers significant autonomy, with engineers owning entire feature-lines independently while collaborating with team members when needed.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of engineering experience, strong full-stack capabilities, and experience with ML/forecasting models. You'll be joining a team led by experienced founders including Aditya (ex-Headspace Health, ex-Uber) and Satya (ex-Meta, ex-Amazon, ex-Google), backed by top investors in the valley.
