Founding Mobile Engineer

Upstream is seeking a founding mobile engineer to join their team in Paris. As a founding member, you'll play a crucial role in shaping both the company and product, primarily focusing on hands-on building.

The company has completed YC and secured a $3 million pre-seed round. Based in Paris with strong US ties, they're building a modern email client that transforms team collaboration. Their vision is to create a full-blown collaborative experience that brings fun, transparency, and connectedness to email while helping teams maintain clarity and focus.

The role involves developing efficient React Native iOS and Android apps, taking products from concept to production, and contributing to engineering culture. Key responsibilities include crafting blazingly fast applications, ensuring outstanding user experience both online and offline, and architecting seamless cross-platform experiences.

The ideal candidate should be product-minded, committed to building fast & stable software, and have an eye for detail. They should understand scalable solutions and be able to move quickly while maintaining quality. Experience with mobile development, particularly React Native, is essential.
