Full Stack Software Engineer at Vendora (W23)

Vendora is building a transformative solution for the $1 trillion grocery industry, representing over 3% of US GDP. As a full stack software engineer, you'll join a small but mighty team focused on shipping and maintaining robust software solutions with exceptional efficiency.

The role demands a builder mindset and customer obsession. You'll work on diverse challenges - from building high-performance APIs that sync hundreds of thousands of products across platforms to developing intelligent inventory management models and integrating with various hardware vendors.

• Frontend: TypeScript, React.js, React Native, Next.js
• Backend: Node.js, Express
• Databases: MongoDB, PostgreSQL (Supabase)
• Infrastructure: AWS, GCP, Docker
• UI: Tailwind/Nativewind, Shadcn

The ideal candidate should be comfortable:

• Shipping end-to-end products and maintaining features across mobile, web, and backend
• Acting as their own product manager, handling ambiguity while understanding customer needs
• Engaging directly with users for feedback and support
• Maintaining high engineering standards and introducing innovative solutions
• Building scalable systems with proper documentation

Nice-to-have experience includes:

• Native development (Kotlin, Swift, C#), especially for Windows
• LLM applications using RAG and agent frameworks
• Machine Learning with PyTorch and open source models
• DevOps expertise in infrastructure, observability, and security

This is an in-person role based in our Williamsburg office, requiring five days per week presence.
