Full Stack Software Engineer at Vendora (W23)

Vendora is revolutionizing the $1 trillion grocery industry with modern software solutions. As a full stack software engineer, you'll join a dynamic team focused on building and maintaining critical systems that power grocery operations.

You'll work on diverse challenges from building high-performance APIs that sync product data across platforms to developing models for inventory optimization. The role requires end-to-end ownership - from frontend to backend development across web and mobile platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing complete products and features across mobile, web, and backend
• Acting as your own product manager to understand customer needs and build solutions
• Directly engaging with users for feedback and support
• Driving engineering excellence and innovation
• Building scalable, well-documented systems

The tech stack includes:

• JavaScript ecosystem (TypeScript, React.js, React Native, Node.js, Next.js, Express)
• Modern frontend tools (Tailwind/Nativewind, Shadcn)
• Databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL/Supabase)
• Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker)

Nice-to-have experience includes native development (Kotlin, Swift, C#), LLM applications, machine learning with PyTorch, and DevOps practices.

The role is based in their Williamsburg office with in-person work 5 days a week. You'll be joining a team of experienced operators from companies like Amazon, Uber, Tesla, Figma and McKinsey, backed by Y Combinator and retail industry investors.
