Description For Staff Software Engineer (React Native)

Join Vetcove's mission to revolutionize the $50B+ animal health industry by transforming how veterinarians procure supplies. As a Staff Software Engineer specializing in React Native, you'll lead the development of mobile applications serving 17,000+ veterinary hospitals across all 50 states. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on development, focusing on building sophisticated mobile solutions using React Native, Typescript, and Expo.

You'll be responsible for creating and maintaining mobile applications that help veterinary clinics streamline operations and optimize their supply chains. The position involves working with native mobile components, implementing the latest mobile technologies, and building systems that manage billions of dollars in transactions. You'll collaborate closely with the CTO, engineering team, and design team to evolve the mobile strategy and create elegant, effective solutions.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of React Native experience, strong technical expertise, and excellent communication skills. You'll work in a 100% remote environment within the USA, enjoying comprehensive benefits including medical insurance, 401k, equity, and more. The compensation package is competitive, ranging from $170,000 to $250,000 annually, plus bonus and equity.

This is an opportunity to make a significant impact in veterinary healthcare technology, working with a Y Combinator and venture-backed growth stage company. You'll be joining a mission-driven team focused on helping veterinary organizations spend more time delivering care and less time managing supplies.
