Description For Pre-Sales Solution Engineer

As a Senior Pre-Sales Solution Engineer (SE) at VMware by Broadcom, you will play a pivotal role in impacting customer experience and success. You'll be at the core of a sales team's strategy in an innovative company that values diversity and passion. This role is ideal for self-starters who enjoy challenges and have a passion for technology and customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interact with customers to understand and address their business requirements
  • Map VMware by Broadcom's services to customer's desired business outcomes
  • Propose architectural designs that deliver technical change while considering people and processes
  • Present and communicate with Account Executives, extended account teams, and customers
  • Support in building commercial proposals with sound technical solutions
  • Ensure smooth handover to services delivery team
  • Build consumption and adoption roadmaps for customers
  • Contribute to account strategy and planning
  • Support and mentor team members
  • Provide feedback on best practices for customer approaches
  • Participate in industry events like VMware Explore
  • Author blogs and LinkedIn posts

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of experience in Pre-Sales roles and Architecture
  • Fluency in English (both spoken and written)
  • Willingness to travel frequently as required
