Wallex is seeking a Senior Solidity Developer to join their blockchain team. The role focuses on developing and deploying smart contracts for various blockchain platforms, with a particular emphasis on Ethereum and EVM-based chains. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of development experience with at least 1 year in smart contract development. The position requires expertise in blockchain technologies, smart contract development, and security best practices. The role offers a blend of technical challenges in DeFi and blockchain development, with opportunities to work on innovative projects. Responsibilities For Senior Solidity developer / DefiTrade
- Design, develop, test, and deploy smart contracts on blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Base, or Solana
- Write high-quality, secure, and gas optimized code for blockchain applications
- Maintain and optimize existing blockchain smart contracts
- Work closely with project managers, other developers, security auditors and other stakeholders
- Contribute to the architecture and design decisions for blockchain systems
Requirements For Senior Solidity developer / DefiTrade
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of professional experience as a developer
- 1+ years of experience in smart contract development in Solidity on Ethereum or any EVM-based chain
- Strong proficiency in Solidity and other smart contract languages
- Experience with blockchain development frameworks and tools (e.g., Foundry, Hardhat, Remix)
- Understanding of consensus algorithms and blockchain protocols
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong testing skills and experience with testing frameworks for smart contracts
- Appreciation for direct communication and active listening
