The position involves working with multiple model architectures (GPT, Llama, Gemini) and requires strong Python skills, data processing expertise, and machine learning knowledge. Responsibilities For Senior, Software Engineer – Prompt Engineer
- Develop, test and refine prompts for various applications including text generation, question answering, data classification, and synthetic training data generation
- Develop and maintain regression test suites for prompt compliance
- Analyze and iterate on prompts based on performance metrics and user feedback
- Collaborate with legal, product and data science teams
- Navigate prompt characteristics of multiple model architectures
- Assess safety exposure and strengthen compliance characteristics
- Research and stay updated on AI field developments
Requirements For Senior, Software Engineer – Prompt Engineer
- Strong command of Python programming fundamentals
- Solid data skills and computer-science fundamentals
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MS SQL)
- Deep hands-on technical expertise in development
- Good data-processing and testing fundamentals
- Project management from scoping to launch
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
- 3 years of software engineering experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
