Responsibilities For Staff, Software Engineer
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance front-end applications for 1P Sellers and 3P Suppliers
- Develop robust, maintainable, reusable code for managing functionality and configuration
- Plan and implement application enhancements for functionality, resiliency, usability, and security
- Analyze system performance and troubleshoot bottlenecks
- Develop and maintain automated test cases
- Review peer code and contribute to architectural improvements
- Design and maintain observability aspects of application
- Plan hardware capacity for high traffic business events
Requirements For Staff, Software Engineer
- BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience
- Experience in creating user interfaces using HTML5, CSS, and libraries like Bootstrap
- Front end programming experience in JavaScript, Java, Python, React, Angular
- Experience integrating with scalable back-end services (REST/GraphQL)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and best practices
- Experience in functional, integration and E2E testing
- Expertise with unit testing & Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
