Security Engineer

Wealthfront is seeking a Security Engineer to join their Security Engineering team in a role that can be either U.S.-based remote or located in Palo Alto, CA. This position is crucial for maintaining and enhancing the security infrastructure of a growing fintech organization where customer trust is paramount.

The role combines technical expertise with security leadership, requiring 4+ years of experience in Software, Site Reliability, or Security Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and automating security tools, partnering with various engineering teams to integrate security best practices, and leading security incident responses.

Key responsibilities include configuring and automating security tools, developing security policies, staying current with emerging threats, and conducting incident response. The position requires strong technical skills, particularly in AWS services like IAM and CloudTrail, as well as the ability to communicate security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
