We're seeking a Software Engineer specializing in Search to join our innovative team. You'll be responsible for creating the best search experience for users to find relevant content on our platform, including streams, products, and community members. This role involves working on various aspects such as taxonomy, search and filters, retrieval and ranking algorithms, and content understanding.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building and maintaining a healthy ecosystem where buyers find engaging content and sellers thrive
• Making data-informed decisions and shipping quickly to benefit users
• Applying practical methods to solve real-world problems with consumer-scale data
• Collaborating on search, recommendations, and other machine learning applications

We're looking for candidates with:

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years specializing in Search
• Strong background in applied statistical and machine learning fields
• Excellent product instincts and a user-first mindset
• Ability to ship products and features rapidly
• Experience with Python, Elixir, JavaScript, or other relevant languages
