This role focuses on building, deploying, and monitoring cloud services as an integral part of product teams. The position requires expertise in maintaining critical revenue-generating services and developing monitoring frameworks for production services. The ideal candidate should be self-directed, capable of establishing test procedures, and skilled at collaborating across teams including Developers, Designers, Customer Support, and Engineering Leadership. Responsibilities For Mid Site Reliability Engineer
- Build systems and infrastructure to monitor complex, large-scale distributed systems
- Identify stability/performance issues and collaborate with developers to triage critical issues
- Represent SRE organization in design reviews and operational readiness exercises
- Monitor system throughput, capacity and reliability
- Debug complex systems and evolve running environment without downtime
- Engage in service capacity planning and demand forecasting
- Drive standardization efforts across multiple disciplines and services
Requirements For Mid Site Reliability Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- 3-4 years of proven professional experience as a Site Reliability Engineer
- Experience with Python, Bash, Perl or Go
- Knowledge of virtualization storage, networking, server, and security
- Understanding of systems and application design
- Knowledge of Unix, TCP/IP, HTTP, web application security
- Experience in analyzing logs and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
- Currently living in Latin America
- Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills
