Responsibilities For Resident Engineer - Virginia

  • Collaborate with Professional Services team to ensure success of team members and customers
  • Integrate Zscaler solutions into customer's environment
  • Provide configuration guidance and best practices
  • Assist with testing and troubleshooting
  • Provide regular status reports for critical incidents and projects
  • Respond to unplanned events, including after hours for Severity 1 issues

Requirements For Resident Engineer - Virginia

Linux
  • 6+ years of experience as a Resident Engineer, Professional Services Consultant, or Support Engineer
  • Familiarity with IPSEC, GRE, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS protocols, Proxy, SSL, SSL Inspection, and authentication systems
  • Experience with systems installation and administration of routers/switches, macOS, UNIX/Linux and Windows
  • Meets requirements of DoD 8570 IATII or 8140 Cyber Def Infra Support Specialist
  • Active US SECRET clearance or higher
