How to discuss your experience as a founding engineer?

After watching this great taro video about how to write a resume, I am following the general principle of discussing my skills/accomplishments by using the format Accomplished [X], measured by [Y], By Doing [Z]. I was wondering how can I can discuss my skills/accomplishments if I was a founding engineer for a startup for a year. Since I wrote the back end from scratch, I spent the majority of my time writing software that would be the foundation of the entire business. For example, I'd like to say that I designed and developed the backend services to be FAPI and PSD2 compliant. However, even though the aforementioned could be a high-effort task, it was an absolute prerequisite of everything else, but on the other hand, it does not deliver any monetary reward. Any ideas on how to discuss this type of effort?

    Two thoughts:

    1. Call out what exactly it enabled, e.g. "Allowed us to ship the v1 of the product X weeks early" or "Built the backend services up to spec, enabling seamless development for Y other engineers"
    2. Can you expand on why those compliance efforts are technically interesting? I have no idea what goes into FAPI or PSD2 compliance, so could you add some color? Perhaps benchmark how long it takes other companies to accomplish it vs how long it took you.
