Description For Amazon Dedicated Cloud Engineer II, ADC Analytics

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Dedicated Cloud Engineer II to join their ADC Analytics team, working with some of the largest distributed systems in the world. This role is part of AWS's mission to provide cutting-edge cloud solutions to Dedicated Cloud customers.

The position involves working with critical AWS database services including Athena, OpenSearch, Elastic Map Reduce, Glue, QuickSight, LakeFormation, and Redshift. As a Dedicated Cloud Engineer, you'll be part of a dynamic team comprising Systems Engineers, System Development Engineers, and Software Engineers who are passionate about building and improving cloud infrastructure at scale.

Key responsibilities include deep-dive troubleshooting, conducting technical post-mortems, and building solutions that can be deployed across thousands of devices. The ideal candidate should have strong Linux experience, particularly in large-scale distributed environments, and solid networking knowledge.

The role requires an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph, reflecting the sensitive nature of the work. You'll be based in either Denver, CO, Herndon, VA, or Seattle, WA, working alongside some of the industry's best technical talent.
