Secure Systems Architect - Platform Architecture

Apple's Platform Architecture group is seeking a Secure Systems Architect to join their team responsible for connecting hardware, software, and servers into a unified system. This role focuses on securing the world's most advanced consumer devices and improving the security of Apple's products.

As a Secure Systems Architect, you will be instrumental in defining and overseeing security architecture for distributed web services that protect Apple's product ecosystem. You'll work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security policies, identify emerging threats, and drive security initiatives at the executive level.

The ideal candidate brings 20+ years of industry experience and deep expertise in security architecture, cryptographic principles, and web services. You'll need strong technical skills in Python, Go, or C/C++, combined with experience in DevOps practices and scalable infrastructure design.

Key responsibilities include developing threat models, creating system-level specifications, and championing security technologies across product categories. You'll collaborate with various teams including Infrastructure, Privacy, Safety, Service, Manufacturing, Software, and Product Development to resolve complex security challenges.
