Lead Software Engineer - Android

The Android team at Disney is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to build apps enjoyed by millions worldwide. You will be responsible for developing scalable, elegant solutions for Android applications on Disney+ and Star+ across various devices including phones, tablets, and TVs. Our highly collaborative group works closely with cross-functional teams and values excellent communication skills and a bias for action.

Key Aspects of the Role:

• Build and maintain high-quality Android applications for Disney+ and Star+
• Work with modern technologies including Kotlin, reactive programming, and dependency injection
• Lead projects from conception to completion
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver excellent user experiences
• Contribute to critical components including release process and configuration management
• Monitor and maintain production systems
• Mentor team members and contribute to team growth
