The Cloud Engineer position is part of their Frontier Delivery team, focusing on building core infrastructure for their cutting-edge AI product, Frontier. This role offers a unique opportunity to scale an AI-focused product while championing Cloud and Infrastructure engineering best practices.

As a Cloud Engineer, you'll be instrumental in building robust, secure, and scalable Cloud Infrastructure supporting data and machine learning workflows. You'll work in cross-functional technical teams, solving some of the most challenging problems in Applied AI. The role involves close collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, contributing to internal best practices, and enabling ML Engineers and Data Scientists to manage their cloud deployments effectively.

The ideal candidate should have experience with major cloud providers, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and networking fundamentals. Knowledge of Python and API development is required, along with a strong understanding of cloud security principles. Responsibilities For Cloud Engineer - Talent Pool

  • Build robust, secure and scalable Cloud Infrastructure for data and machine learning workflows
  • Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders from idea to implementation
  • Contribute to internal Cloud Engineering best practices and standards
  • Enable Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientists to take ownership of cloud deployments
  • Create and maintain reusable libraries used company-wide
  • Recommend cloud infrastructure solutions to customers

Requirements For Cloud Engineer - Talent Pool

  • Experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
  • Experience with CI/CD (ArgoCD, Gitlab Pipelines, CircleCI)
  • Containerisation and deployment with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Networking fundamentals knowledge (IP networking, TCP, HTTP)
  • Cloud security fundamentals understanding
  • Python and API development experience
  • Experience in working directly with clients for requirements gathering and technical planning
