Site Reliability Engineer II

Microsoft's Azure Data engineering team is leading the transformation of analytics in the cloud world with products like Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL DB, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure PostgreSQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, and Power BI.

As a Site Reliability Engineer II on the Microsoft Fabric platform team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of Microsoft's unified data stack. The role involves working with high-throughput, multi-tenant services, collaborating across teams, and being part of an on-call rotation to maintain service health.

You'll be designing and implementing solutions in partnership with Product Management, championing operational excellence through metrics and process governance, and documenting data engineering processes. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in software engineering or systems administration, with particular expertise in scripting and automation.
