Java Engineer - Pune

Modulr, a fintech company backed by PayPal Ventures and FIS Ventures, is revolutionizing business payments by providing a digital alternative to traditional bank accounts. We're seeking a Java Engineer to join our Pune team to help build our innovative payments platform. You'll work in an autonomous, cross-functional squad focused on solving complex problems in the payments industry.

The role involves designing and developing critical payment systems, working with microservices architecture, and contributing to the evolution of our technical infrastructure. You'll be part of a team that values building extraordinary solutions, moving at pace, and achieving goals collaboratively.

Our technology stack includes Java, Spring, Hibernate, and PostgreSQL, with a focus on microservices and REST API design. The position offers the opportunity to work on challenging problems in a high-growth environment, contributing to a platform that's changing how businesses handle payments.

We operate in a tribes and squad model, where each area focuses on a particular growth initiative.
