Senior Software Engineer

Thera is building the de facto platform for remote startups to manage their workforce. We're looking for a full-stack engineer to join our growing team.

We're fresh off a seed round and backed by some of the world's leading investors: Y Combinator, Oliver Jung, Bayhouse Capital, 10x Founders, Amino Capital, Zillionize, House Capital, and many notable angels.

As a Senior Software Engineer at Thera, you'll be at the forefront of building HR solutions for the future of work. Our platform addresses the compliance, global, and benefits needs of tomorrow's best companies, which will be global and remote from Day 1.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead full-stack development initiatives
• Combine in-house and 3rd party API provider functionality to build a holistic HR platform
• Define engineering culture and best practices from the ground up
• Collaborate closely with CTO and CEO to impact product roadmap

We're looking for someone who:

• Has a strong bias towards action and prioritizes execution
• Can handle the unstructured environment of fast-moving startups
• Has the hunger to grow with Thera as we scale
• Is fast-learning and proactive
• Has experience with Typescript, Kotlin, React.js, NextJS, Spring Boot or similar frameworks
• Is product-minded and enjoys user interaction
