Google's gTech Users and Products (gUP) team is seeking a Product Manager to lead their user-to-user (U2U) community platform (Tailwind) and Product Experts engagement platform (Bento). This role is crucial in creating helpful and trusted experiences across Google's product ecosystem. The position involves advocating for users, managing community platforms, and driving next-generation solutions beyond basic maintenance.

As a Product Manager, you'll be responsible for shaping the strategy of U2U support while working closely with cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, and marketers. The role requires a strong background in product management with at least 5 years of experience and demonstrated ability in taking technical products from conception to launch.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, experience with consumer-facing products, and a track record of working in high-velocity project environments. You'll be responsible for analyzing user journeys, optimizing experiences, and driving engagement across platforms. Requirements For Product Manager, gTech Users and Products, Community

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in product management
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch
  • Experience working with consumer-facing products
  • Master's degree or PhD in a technology or business related field (preferred)
  • 3 years of experience in preparing and delivering technical presentations (preferred)
  • 2 years of experience working cross-functionally
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams on high-velocity projects
  • Excellent communication skills
