Google's Equipment Demand and Supply Planning team plays a crucial role in Google Cloud's infrastructure expansion. As a Demand Planning Program Manager, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring timely delivery of critical data center equipment to meet Google Cloud's growing capacity needs. You'll work with various teams including Data Center Planning, Engineering, and Contract Manufacturing to manage material requirements and infrastructure development.

The position requires strong expertise in demand planning and operations, with responsibilities spanning from managing material requirements to developing demand models. You'll be part of the Technical Infrastructure team, which is fundamental to keeping Google's vast network of services running smoothly. The role involves cross-functional collaboration, strategic planning, and data-driven decision making.

The position offers a competitive compensation package including a base salary range of $147,000-$216,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. You'll have the opportunity to work from either Kirkland, WA or Atlanta, GA, contributing to Google's mission of solving problems for all users globally.

  • Inform about the change in demand requirements to internal customers
  • Identify and solve demand gaps and inefficiencies
  • Coordinate and align product transition planning requirements across teams
  • Develop short and long term demand models to optimize product transitions

Requirements For Program Manager III, Equipment Demand Planning, Technical Infrastructure

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management
  • Experience with Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), and Demand/Supply Planning
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Product Life-cycle Management (PLM) systems
  • Experience in Analytics/SQL/BigQuery
  • Knowledge of S&OP processes
