Google is seeking a Software Engineer III to join their Platforms Infrastructure Engineering team in Pittsburgh. This role is part of Google's Technical Infrastructure organization, which is fundamental to supporting Google's vast product portfolio through developing and maintaining data centers and building next-generation platforms.

The position offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $141,000 to $202,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. As a Software Engineer III, you'll be responsible for developing critical infrastructure that powers Google's services used by billions of users worldwide.

The role involves working on large-scale systems, requiring expertise in software development, system design, and problem-solving. You'll be writing production code, participating in design reviews, conducting code reviews, contributing to documentation, and troubleshooting complex system issues. The position requires strong technical skills with at least 2 years of experience in software development and algorithms.
