What aspects/criteria should I consider when it comes to staying in a company vs switching companies vs switching teams internally? (Keeping in mind of How often is switching companies healthy?

Follow up: How hard/easy it becomes as and when we grow further in career (keeping in mind about senior roles in next company/family etc.)

1. How can I build the foundation for it from now? First IDK if every team would have that opportunity to work on complex/strategic projects…
2. is it something I should bring to my Manager? At what stage in my career should I bring this up?
3. how can I look out for opportunities within my company?

I'm considering joining a new ads org, and I was wondering what working in ads was like overall since I've never worked in ads before.

A more specific question: There's a lot of competition in the online ads space nowadays - Will that make ads orgs more prone to layoffs as they find trouble gaining traction in this crowded market?
